DBG (Darbhanga, दरभंगा) is a city in Bihar state of India. This city is the Cultural Capital of Bihar.

The city is distinguished by its art & cultural environment publicized countrywide. It is well known worldwide for Mithila/Madhubani Paintings, its heritages & historical monuments belonging to “DARBHANGA KINGDOM”. Darbhanga is covered by the Indian State of West Bengal from south & the country Nepal from east.

The ancient name of the city was Dar-E-Bangal. It is a Persian word which means "Gateway To Bengal". The name of the city modified as Darbanga by time and now finally modified as Darbhanga.

DBG Film Club is a non-profitable organization registered under Government of India, which works in the field of cinema, art & culture involving films & media activities since 2013. Since then the organization has contributed & conducted many social events and made them successful all over India. It is the first ever film club of Bihar state. The organization DBG Film Club was founded in 2013 by filmmaker, director & VFX artist Meraj Siddiqui.
